This Affiliate Partnership Statement explains how The False Sun fan site (“Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may earn compensation from links, ads, and partner programs.
1. Who We Are
https://thefalsesun.space/ is an independent fan-built website that helps visitors play and discover browser-friendly visual novels and related games. We are not the official developer, publisher, or owner of The False Sun or the other titles featured on the Site unless we expressly say otherwise.
2. Affiliate and Advertising Relationships
The Site may participate in affiliate marketing programs, advertising networks, sponsored placements, and similar commercial partnerships. That means:
- some links may be affiliate links;
- some banners, units, or recommendations may be paid or commission-based; and
- we may receive a commission, referral fee, or other compensation if you click a link, install an offer, make a purchase, or complete another tracked action.
Compensation does not increase the price you pay solely because you used our link, unless a partner’s own offer terms say otherwise.
3. How This Affects Content
Affiliate and advertising relationships help support hosting, maintenance, and continued updates to the Site. They do not automatically mean every recommendation is paid. Editorial descriptions of games, story summaries, FAQs, and play pages may still reflect our own curation choices.
When a specific post, page, or section is sponsored, we will disclose that relationship in a reasonably clear way on or near the relevant content where required.
4. Third-Party Responsibility
Affiliate partners, advertisers, stores, app platforms, and game hosts are independent third parties. Their products, pricing, availability, privacy practices, and terms are controlled by them. We are not responsible for third-party websites, checkout flows, downloads, subscriptions, or customer support.
5. No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that any product, game, offer, or service promoted through affiliate or advertising relationships will meet your expectations, remain available, or remain free. Always review the partner’s own terms, ratings, and policies before purchasing or installing anything.
6. Transparency Disclosure
In accordance with common advertising disclosure standards: some links and promotions on this Site may generate compensation for us at no extra cost to you. If that matters to your decision, please treat monetized links as commercial relationships.
