The False Sun (thefalsesun.space) is an independent, fan-built browser hub for mature visual novels and related story games you can open without installing a desktop client.
What this site is
The homepage features The False Sun, a warm-horror visual novel by Oniray, in an embedded browser player. Related titles sit in a grid so you can open each game on its own URL, press Play, and read at your own pace.
We are not an official studio, publisher, or itch.io storefront. Game names and characters remain the property of their creators. When a page covers a fan or browser build, treat it as unofficial convenience coverage unless a rights holder is named on that page.
Who it is for
This site is aimed at mature readers who want short-to-medium visual novel sessions in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Expect emotional pressure, psychological unease, and adult themes on many pages. If a title is not a good fit, leave the page—there is no account wall forcing you to continue.
How we present games
- Featured play uses an iframe so the story stays on this domain when possible.
- Each related game has its own landing URL for sharing and bookmarking.
- Guides explain tone, pacing, and how to start—not cracked downloads or ROM packs.
